Abstract
Due to increasing rate of underemployment, scholars developed The Psychology of Working Theory to explain how social structures influence access to stable employment that satisfies psychological needs to lead to well-being. We plan to investigate the psychological needs of autonomy, competence, and relatedness as mediators between underemployment and meaningful work.
