Abstract
Perceptions and definitions of domestic violence are often based on masculine lines of power and dominance and thus often excluded homosexual relationships where this division is not as readily apparent. This study decreases the gap in the literature by comparing definitions of domestic violence between heterosexual and homosexual young adults.
