Abstract
In this poster I explore the impact of cultural and cognitive experiences on the formation of racial affect types in low socioeconomic status populations in Appalachia. I explore the Psychosocial Costs of Racism to Whites (PCRW) framework, factors related to transmitted culture experiences, and the influence of poverty on cognition.
