Abstract

The proposed study will explore how exposure to police brutality via digital media platforms influences allies’ empathy towards BIPOC and drives them to challenge racist behaviors. Additionally, the study seeks to understand the role of psychological flexibility in sustaining these efforts, with respect to the psychological toll that witnessing police brutality can impose.
