Abstract
The following paper is based on the work I completed as part of PSY 499, an undergraduate course in which students assist first-year graduate students with their research project and write an honors thesis. Each undergraduate research assistant is paired with a graduate student and assists them in completing work on a research and development project pertaining to one of the many subsystems of Dr. Richard Malott's "Behavior Analysis Training System(BATS)." I was assigned to the Professional Psychology Practicum (PPP) subsystem. I collaborated with Tawnya Fraizer and Tracy Nitz during my work, but I did not assist them with reviews and revisions to the system, I work with them at Croyden Avenue School. This paper includes information about BATS, PPP, my task and responsibilities, the work done at Croyden, and disconnects and ideas for improvement to the system.
