Abstract

"Researching the Blues: Writing a Guide for Home Construction," is a project for Specialty Publications. They will use the information in a home construction guide to sell to the Home Builder's Association. This information may not be reproduced or copied without their permission. The thesis is a capstone to my degree in journalism involving eminence research and writing. I tried to weave creative language into a dry subject which most college students have not been exposed to on a first hand basis. I spent around 3 months wading through dozens of home building advice and writing the best of the best in my own words.
