Abstract
The cliche of"perception is reality" has become exponentially more of a reality as media driven images constantly bombard us in today's world. Advertising campaigns on television convince citizens to buy products they may not need, political candidates use media as a way to reach larger numbers of people at one time, and groups use written media such as pamphlets to spread their gospel to the masses. No one can deny the hold that the media has over almost every person in the country, even the world, and the images shown can color the perceptions of those who are receiving services provided by practically any person.
