Abstract

When deciding upon an honors thesis topic, my heart longed to produce something that could truly make a difference in the lives of others and to create something that would serve as a gift to all of humanity. As Rumi so eloquently proclaimed, "Let the beauty you love be what you do!" And so, in deciding upon a theme for this work, 1listened to my heart song that told me to weave the beauty of my love and connection with nature and the outdoors, photography and meditation into a very special and rich tapestry of sight, sound and color. A beauty that began as the seed of an idea, and then evolved from a gift solely to my human brothers and sisters into a gift for Mother Nature herself—a celebration of the divine richness of her beauty and grandeur.
