Abstract
Discusses "Deming's Fourteen Points" essential to establishing a TQM environment, defined as "an approach for continuously improving the quality of goods and services delivered through the participation of all levels and functions of the organization" (Pfau, 1989, 17). TQM implementation requires that everyone in the organization give customer satisfaction top priority. The Shewhart Cycle illustrates the transformation of TQM. This paper explores Deming's 14 points and Total Quality Management transformation as it applies to non-profit organizations.
