Abstract
Tiller's program director, Dick Roosenberg, showed me the small opening halfway along the trail between the DeLano Homestead and the Dalton Tool Barn. This site was chosen because its central location between the Homestead and the Tool Barn would provide interest for visitors walking the quarter mile between the two attractions. The opening also provided an area which would enable the cabin to stand by itself as a distinct time period apart from the Homestead's time period.
