Abstract
The World Health Organization's Global Burden of Disease study revealed that clinical depression would be the second most burdensome illness in the world by the year 2020. On this college campus, a recent Sindecuse Health Center survey showed that depression and back pain were tied for the number one concern among students. While there may be little we can do about backpack weight, there is much that can be done to inform students and faculty about depression.
