Abstract

During this mid-twentieth century period, much is heard concerning the need for economic and social reform throughout the Latin American republics. In fact, the term "social revolution" has become the more commonly expressed concept. Although the approach to this need is usually expressed in political and economic terms, the actual and potential role of the Christian community in Latin America as promoter and agent of change merits some attention.
