Abstract
The purpose of this summer thesis is twofold: first, to further develop techniques and strategies for creating dynamic websites and web applications; and second, to develop a website for the West Ottawa Music Boosters, a parent-led organization which is in need of a website and cannot afford to have one developed professionally.
The development of this website would be a learning experience for the student as both an experience in consulting with a client and as a professional web designer and developer; the student will learn how to write secure code, develop and implement content management systems, and further develop skills in PHP, JavaScript, and will take a deeper look at other concepts covered in the course of the eBusiness Design program at Western Michigan University.
