Abstract
Encouraged by the writings of philosophical and astrological theorist, Dane Rudhyar, in the 1930's, astrologers began to align astrological language with humanistic psychology. Today an increasing number of psychologically oriented astrologers are exploring the common ground between the two disciplines of psychology and astrology. Given Carl Jung's interest in and writings about astrology, Jungian Analytical Psychology seems to provide very fertile ground to explore between the two disciplines. Therefore, many astrologers have turned to Jung's writings to reacquaint modern man with the knowledge of astrology and revitalize the language of astrology.
