Abstract
In the winter of 1993 I began gathering information to study foreign language teaching methods with the thought in mind of graduation from Western Michigan University's secondary education program. Knowing that within a year I would be teaching Spanish in a high school in Michigan, I wanted to start formulating my own ideas about generating interest and motivation in the classroom.
