Abstract
Interactive multimedia has entered the daily lives of many people from information kiosks at airports to safety procedure training sessions at heavy industrial plants. The development of interactive multimedia is increasing rapidly, paralleling the advances in computers and other technologies. As the integration possibilities of different media increase, we continue to find more and more advanced capabilities presented as interactive multimedia packages. Also expanding is the acknowledgement that artistic and functional components of instruction define success in interactive multimedia.
