Abstract
Anew, student-run news program is underway for the Spring 2009 semester. WMU Student News is produced by students in the School of Communication's Advanced Broadcast Journalism class and will cover stories of interest to students and the campus community all semester long. Long-time School of Communication instructor Jan Kruse is facilitating the class and acting as News Director. Also assisting in a leadership position is WMU Senior Maureen Savage, who will serve as Executive Producer as part of her Honors Thesis Project.
