Abstract
Durametallic Corporation was founded in Kalamazoo in 1917 and has since grown to 30 manufacturing centers worldwide. They are now a leader in the design and manufacture of sealing systems. The type of sealing systems manufactured at Durametallic are used as a method of creating reliable, leak-free, and low maintenance operation for sealing rotating equipment. (Durametallic, 1997)
