Abstract
This project was done in fulfillment of my honors college thesis for graduation from the Lee Honors College at Western Michigan University. I wanted to do something for Alternatives Women’s Care Center that would fulfill my thesis requirements. When discussing ideas with Bill Kiewiet, executive director, a need that arose was finding foundations where Alternatives could write grants to receive funding. Thus, I researched grant-funding institutions that would apply specifically to Alternatives for my honors thesis project.
