Abstract
Those who have encountered the phrase "Boolean Algebra" have not always had the opportunity or time to examine the elementary ideas upon which this algebra is formed and some of its applications in the analysis and design of electrical switching circuits. Boolean algebra is an abstraction of many algebras, including algebra of sets and statement logic. As a result, reference will be made to the operations, axioms, and theorems which occur in the theoretical development. Demonstrated is that Boolean algebra is equivalent to a commutative Boolean ring with unity.
