Abstract
Integral equations arise constantly in applications as far ranging as electrical engineering, hydrodynamics, astronomy, and transport physics. However, this area of mathematics is often neglected. The techniques used with integral equations have further use in problems such as numerical evaluation of an integral, solution of sets of linear equations, error analysis, and discrete mathematics. This paper discusses a numerical technique and definitions, and a subroutine in the computer language FORTRAN.
