Abstract
‘Text Away the Flu’ is an evidenced-based project which has the overall goal of improving the rates of vaccination against the flu among Western Michigan University. The planning process of this project began with a needs assessment. A questionnaire assessing the perception of students at Western Michigan University was developed and administered. Data collected from this assessment were then used to develop a program. Based on the data collected, it was identified that a text-based program would best meet the needs of the students. Efficacy of the program will be measured through post-test surveys.
