Abstract
This study sought to examine the quantity and quality of books available featuring Deaf representation. An initial list of books with Deaf representation was sorted and categorized based on different criteria, followed curating a sample of books available at libraries local to the study. The sample was analyzed for different positive and negative representations in the pictures, words, and author’s notes. After analysis, member checks confirmed the quality code levels assigned to each book in the sample, providing examples for others to base their own extension of the work.
