Abstract
The basic goals of this project were to discover how businesses in southern Michigan are making use of this new technology and to find ways to make the web a more effective marketing tool. This was accomplished by actively "sponsoring" five businesses and donating a website to them, as well as an informal electronic survey of a few more businesses throughout Southern Michigan. Includes accompaniment of paper print-out of author's web site, an experiment in marketing via the internet by allowing business to create "storefronts" within the website.
