Abstract
As a current Starting Gate member and entrepreneurship major at WMU, I am always surrounded by business ideas and the thought of building and growing my own business. This is the main reason I have made a business plan for my business idea, the Happy Horn.
The Happy Horn is an add on horn attachment for every type of bike, E-bike, and E-scooter. This horn quickly and easily attaches to the handle bars and features 4 buttons. The first button being a normal horn sound. However, the other three buttons are linked to different tones. These tones are selected and changed in the Happy Horn app, making the happy horn fully customizable to each and every user. The user will be able to pick and choose what button is connected to what sound. For example, a user could choose a happy jingle for when they see a friend, a boat horn for when someone is in their way, and another happy jingle for when they see a fellow peer. Throughout this business plan I touch on every aspect of the business and how it would look to start and grow this business. These aspects include: the mission and purpose, an external and internal SWOT analysis, market analysis, marketing strategies, future plans, and financials. One of the key aspects of the business plan is the financials section. This section goes over the monthly expenses, cash needed to begin, and sales projections for the next five years. The financials are one of the biggest components to my business plan because I am hoping this business plan will be used to attract the attention of investors that would be willing to believe in my idea and put up some capital to get me started. Near the end of the business plan there are some potential ideas of where this idea can go in the future. These ideas showcase the potential of a full business that surrounded more than just one product.
