Abstract

Report on Aviation Exploration, a two-day summer program hosted by the author at the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek airport to educate girls (11-18) about the field of aviation. In 2005 only 6% of U.S. pilots were female, and the program was intended to show that women can work in the aviation industry and inspire them to consider it as a career. Includes procedures about the program, schedules, and evaluation of the program.
