Abstract
A hypothetical teen pregnancy prevention program designed for seventh and eighth grade boys and girls. The program is to be led by a male and female high school student who serve as positive role models for participants. The program is abstinence plus, which means abstinence is stressed as the best choice but does look at other alternatives for teens who choose to have sexual intercourse. The lessons focus on skills teens need to be successful in many aspects of life, including: self-esteem, decision-making, communication, refusal skills, and identifying trouble situations. STDs are also covered.
