Abstract
A chapbook of environmentally based poetry to inspire, frighten, and impassion the reader. Attempts to capture that raw emotion felt in response to something such as mountain top removal and support it with statistical and factual information to completely encompass the gravity of a situation. Written with the aim of spreading awareness of subjects that desperately need our attention, this chapbook is the first step in what will hopefully be a life-long pursuit of awareness, advocacy, and environmentalism.
