Abstract
This handbook is intended to help new teachers acclimate to their new classrooms. Stepping foot not only into a brand new career, but also an empty classroom can be quite intimidating and particularly challenging. From organizing materials to managing classroom behavior to planning enough time for everything in the day, a new teacher must manage his/her classroom effectively and productively. Topics are included in five major areas: managing space, managing students, managing time, connecting with students, and working with parents.
