Abstract
The purpose of the Greater Battle Creek Youth Asset Identification Project is to assemble the accumulated knowledge on youth in this community and to continuously add components that will provide a picture of needs, assets and resources. This project is a major shift from one-point-in-time studies to a comprehensive and longitudinal approach intended to increase knowledge of community assets, youth assets and needs, as well as assess the impact of programs and services on the lives of Greater Battle Creek's families and youth.
