Abstract
The entire American justice system features the interplay of several systems which, for the most part, share the common heritage that is the Anglo-American approach to law. This paper represents an examination into one part of this American system, the military system, which has, through its incremental and judicially isolated development, become somewhat of a sibling of the systems found in the several states and the federal government—though it does not share the same lineage.
