Abstract
The position of the piece is to provide readers with a new view point in the constant debate as to whether or not a video game can be counted as a piece of art, to show that they are more than just another piece of violent media. The piece was targets specifically people who are either completely against, borderline, or who have simply no opinion on the matter. The piece was written in response to reactions over several shootings, which in turn caused people to blame violent media as a source of corruption within society. Several people began to protest the violent media and refused to look at its true value. This piece was designed to show those who had joined said protests what artistic value a video game can hold.
