Abstract
The purpose of this piece is to analyze the rhetorical strategies used in a documentary film by breaking down key elements and interpreting their effects. Students were given a list of films to choose from and asked to discuss the available means of persuasion used in their film of choice. Findings were then shared in small groups to fellow classmates, and then handed in to be graded by the teacher.
