Lower Semicontinuous Lyapunov Functions And Stability

Abstract
We show that lower semicontinuous Lyapunov functions can be used to determine both stable and attractive sets of differential equations. Several exaples illustrate the flexibility of using such lower semicontinuous Lyapunov functions.
