Very little exists in English on the history of medieval Serbia. The session is primarily meant to highlight the results of the research carried over the last decade or so by a group of young scholars at the University of Belgrade. The papers will explore issues of power representation, law, art, and architecture between the late twelfth and the fifteenth century.
