Description

This session on Medicine and Magic II continues with our exploration of the intimate relationship between both areas, focusing on the late Middle Ages and the early modern age. Again, we will examine how much magic influenced medicine and how much modern medicine had an impact on the world of magic. We hope that the insights gained here will allow us to draw meaningful connection between the premodern and the modern world in which medicine is currently undergoing dramatic transformations.
