Matilda 900 is coordinating panels and presentations at a number of conferences to commemorate the 9th centennial of Matilda of Tuscany / Mathilde di Canossa.

The objective is to present the current state of research on the Great Countess and to coordinate matildine studies with related areas such as gender, lordship, military history, and source criticism.
