Oz Hardwick's recently published poetry anthology, New Crops From Old Fields: Eight Medievalist Poets (2015), includes six poets who originally read at the Medieval Institute's Open Mic in 2014. A new(ish) form of medievalism, medievalist poetry-readings have now been offered at the Studies in Medievalism conference in 2015 and will be offered at conferences MLA, Medieval Academy, and New Chaucer Society in 2016. Sign up in advance by contacting Jane Chance (jchance@rice.edu), or just show up, first come, first served. Three-four poems (5-7 minutes), but if there is time, more.
