Description
This workshop, occasioned by the publication of the monumental new edition The Music of the Beneventan Rite (Bärenreiter 2016), will complement the roundtable discussing the edition, and provide an opportunity for non-specialists and musicologists alike to hear Beneventan chant, to sing the newly edited chant, and to explore the basics of eleventh-century Beneventan chant notation with expert instruction from the editors.
