Description
The interdisciplinary study of medieval chronicles continues to be a fruitful field of research and discovery. This session features papers that focus on the Brut tradition, both in Middle English and Anglo-Norman, considering how Brut chronicles relate to other chronicle texts to depict history, and how a hitherto little-studied manuscript reflects or challenges current views of the Bruts and their dissemination.
