Abstract
This article discusses the United Kingdom and Prime Minister Boris Johnson’s decision to allow places of worship to reopen amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The article details the response of religious leaders and religious organizations to the initial lockdown restrictions, in addition to the new reopening guidelines from the government. The article features Archbishop Cardinal Vincent Nichols and Communities Secretary Robert Jenrick.
