Abstract
According to the article, many places of worship have had to adjust their typical practices and rituals to the social distancing polices being put in place by different state governments across the country. The article specifically focuses on the response of one church, St. Mathew Cathedral in South Bend, Indiana. The perspectives of both clergy and lay members of the church are examined. Topics discussed range from the use of holy water, the use of books, and rituals such as the Catholic sign of peace.
