Abstract
This article talks about a handful of private schools that have remained open during the COVID-19 pandemic and stay-at-home orders, due to the fact they are not under the same requirements to close as public schools. The schools featured include Northwest Baptist Academy near Chicago, Illinois, Gospel Baptist Church and School in Florida, and an unnamed Jewish boarding school in New Jersey. The article discusses the issues between public and private schools and their relationship to State laws and policies.
