Abstract
This article focuses on the Episcopal church throughout the U.S. and the ritual of the Eucharist or communion during the COVID-19 pandemic. Alternatives, such as drive-thrus, sending the Eucharist through the mail, and virtual consecration are discussed, in addition to health and theological concerns over the alternatives. Presiding Bishop Michael Curry and Bishop Susan Haynes are featured in the article.
