Abstract
This release by the State of Michigan details an emergency order issued by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) requiring physicians and funeral directors to report COVID-19 related deaths in a new and more efficient manner. The new policy includes the Electronic Death Records System in addition to other policies detailed in the statement. The emergency order was issued by Director Robert Gordon.
