Abstract
This article features the lawsuit filed against Texas governor Greg Abbott by pastors and activists who feel their constitutional rights have been violated. Gov. Abbott issued a stay-at-home order on April 16, 2020. The stay at home order has led to places of worship, such as churches, to being closed. The lawsuit is led by conservative activist Steve Hotze.
