Abstract
This article looks at the response of Christian churches in Iowa after Governor Reynolds lifted the ban on places of worship holding in person worship services. Despite the lift on the ban, many religious leaders of various Christian denominations have asked their members to not attend in-person worship services. Many churches, including four Catholic dioceses in Iowa have decided to remain closed to the public due to doctrine around the common good.
