Abstract
According to MLive, Christian churches in Michigan are suing Governor Whitmer due to her executive orders surrounding the coronavirus pandemic. In her executive orders, Governor Whitmer placed restrictions on social distancing and large gatherings. The lawsuit claims that through her executive order Governor Whitmer violated the First Amendment of the Constitution. The entire lawsuit is included in the article. The Word of Faith Christian Verified Complaint Center Church, Northern Michigan Baptist Bible Church, and Whole Life Church have filed the lawsuits.
