Abstract

This article discusses Christianity in the United States and the responsibility of Christians to aid those in need and to strive for public justice amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The article details other social welfare issues along with the role of government in aiding those in need. The article discusses TANF, SNAP, the CARES Act, and the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP).
