Abstract
This article discusses the difference in the COVID-19 death rate among Jews, Hindus, Muslims, and Sikhs in the United Kingdom as compared to Christians or those with no stated religion. The article also discusses other minority and marginalized populations and their increased risk of dying from COVID-19. The article explores the possible reasons for why there is such a disparity in death rates among certain populations and religious identities.
